2016 Avalon Rates an A

Edmunds has given the 2016 Toyota Avalon an A rating, touting it as one of the best full-size sedans on the market. The trifecta that Toyota has come to be known for comes together perfectly in this car, combining comfort, quality and performance to knock down the competition.

With a luxurious interior the Avalon features premium wood and soft-touch finishes. Ventilated seats in the front, a tri-zone climate control and heated back seats are also available, and the Avalon boasts comfortable seats with plenty of space for passengers and for gear. There are a myriad of optional features available, making this car a great choice for those after a more upscale vehicle.

In 2016 Toyota introduced a new trim, the XLE Plus, which sits between the base XLE and the XLE Premium. The only downside of this vehicle is that all-wheel drive isn’t an option. The 268 hp 3.5 L V6 engine takes the Avalon from 0-60 in 6.3 seconds, making it one of the fastest full-size cars on the market with above average fuel economy to boot. A quiet cabin, free of noise from highway driving, tires or wind, the Toyota Avalon is an efficient car that’s easy to drive.
